CUBE

The small tabs dont work very well the box still has no stability even at this scaled down size. I could improve this with increasing the size of tabs or use some other sort of tab

NAME??

Presently the publication is called FACE, Im not happy with this as a name. I think its a bit cheesey and obvious.

I could call it MAKE TYPE, to tie it into MAKE collective. It could form the promotional material for a type foundry arm of MAKE. This could help me approach a transmedia project.

possible packaging

Code=documents enclosed

Mirror finish transparent envelope, adds quality and value to the publication.

This could be overdesigned.

questions to ask?

Is it overdesigned?

What size?

Any other colours?

What other forms of packaging would be appropriate for the publication?

How will it be recieved?

cube

The T shape happens to fold into a net for a cube. The cube could act as a way of displaying and showcasing the typeface.

The cube like this is not very stable so will have to look into tabbing etc.

Fold testing

The publication folds out to form a T shape. This could form a the logotype etc, to instill the brand identity.

Turning the T upside down implies the message turning Type upside down. The rotation of the T is not implicit. The outer case needs something else to imply its rotation. This could be some more upside down type. Possibly YPE to finish of the word TYPEFACE.
