This is a mock up of the publication at 210mm cubed using the available paper from digital print.
For the publication to be dual use as both a publication and 3d Display stand, it must be able to condense down and fold together. This means the paper must be both thick enough to become solid when constructed but also thin enough to fold together cleanly.
The tabs are also a problem, they do not fit with the publication aspect of the project. They interfere when folding and clutter the page. It looks to much like a net and not enough like a publication.
QUESTIONS...
Has the project become overdesigned? Does it need to simplify?
Should the publication be separate to the box?
Should the publication be packaged in the box?
